Lauren Jones, born and raised in Southern California, moved to the Sacramento area in 2004 to complete her undergraduate education. She received her bachelor's degree in philosophy with a minor in psychology from U.C. Davis in 2006. During her last year of undergraduate studies, Lauren interned at a local family law firm, and after graduation, she began working as a paralegal/legal assistant in the areas of workers' compensation and civil litigation/subrogation.
In 2009, Lauren was admitted into Lincoln Law School of Sacramento. During her second year she became Student Bar Association Secretary, and in 2012 she mentored with Honorable Thad A. Blizzard of Sacramento County Superior Court. Lauren graduated from Law School in May 2013 where she ranked number 15 in her class and received the award for best Trial Advocacy Team.
Lauren joined Kathleen's law firm in 2013, where she began practicing as a civil litigation attorney for the firm. In June 2014, Lauren and Kathleen opened Gallagher Jones LLP. Lauren has experience in civil litigation, breach of contract, contract drafting, partnership disputes, business disputes, trademark law, workers' compensation, business formation and governance, and estate planning.
When not diligently advocating for her clients, Lauren enjoys painting, photography and spending time with her husband, daughter, family and friends.
